2026 BLIA PONTOON PARADE

SATURDAY, JULY 4 @ 3 PM

Pontoons will meet at the north end of the lake near the public landing at 3:00 PM. Prizes (money) will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. First place will have their name engraved on the plaque, and photo in the 2027 calendar. Second and third places will get prizes also. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE WHOLE CIRCUIT in order to be considered.  Start at the landing, and finish at the landing. Judges will be on the lake to help with any questions, and voting. I would encourage everyone to email (paulrandolph61@gmail.com) or text (651-208-2438) me the theme of their pontoon/boat, and family name ahead of time.

*IF THE PONTOON PARADE IS CANCELLED ON SATURDAY DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, IT WILL BE RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY JULY 5 @ 10 AM. WE WILL POST ANY CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE.

Our goal is to post pictures of all the entrants to the pontoon boat parade on our website. I wish I could guarantee we will get them all, but we will do our very best.

Last year’s parade – SATURDAY, JULY 5, 2025

We were happy to have 6 boats in the 2025 parade. The judges had a blast judging the boats, and watching all of the people come out to their docks and shorelines to cheer the boats on during the parade. Lots of smiles and enthusiasm. The voting was close with ALL of the boats receiving votes from the judges. We had a first place tie, and didn’t see a reason for a tie breaker. Other than place winners, the boats are in random order. THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE WHO ENTERED A BOAT IN THE PARADE, AND THE BIG LAKE COMMUNITY THAT CAME OUT TO WATCH. Please consider entering a boat into the parade next year. Sorry about the delay loading the pictures to this page. I’m still learning how to do certain things with the website.
